These are not common photography terms. Rather, they are optical terms. A converging lens receives parallel light waves and refracts them to a focal point. A diverging lens disperses them.
Converging lenses are commonly used as magnifying glasses. Simple diverging lenses don't have any common purpose because they make objects look smaller when viewed through them.
A converging lens can focus a scene on a surface like film or digital sensor. However, modern photographic lenses use a combination of both to remove lens distortions for a more precise image. Google the terms for more detailed information.
Well I would use PROACTIVE! Its So gooooooooood! Its the only thing I have used that ACTUALLY WORKS! Trust me I have searched for a long time and FINALLY found it! GOOD LUCK! By the way this is Ashton is this Alexis Newman? If you are then add me as a friend!

The camera you have has a KA2 mount system, which will accept a lens with KAF2, KAF, KA or K mount. So you need to find a lens with that kind of a mount.
Obviously we're talking about a used lens, since these aren't in production anymore, so you're going to need to search sites like ebay, craigslist, etc. I did an example search for you on ebay. In the Cameras&Photo>Lenses&Filters>Lenses section I chose Pentax and did a search for KA. Only one telephoto lens was returned, a Tokina SD 35-200mm f4-5.6 which can be had for 88 USD.
Check your local photo shops, too. I'm not talking about BestBuy, but a place that will develop prints and sell cameras to professional photographers. If they aren't directly selling used equipment, they'll know who is.
Good luck!
Make a paste using baking soda and white vinegar. Spread it over the drip pans, allow it to set for 30 minutes, then scrub using a Brillo pad or SOS pad. Wash and rinse. Or, replace the drip pans. They can be found at Walmart.

Get thee behind me, tempter, and the host of thy temptations. There is no happiness, no peace, no good, no future in the doctrines of selfishness, hate, and passion preached by thee.

S. Ganesh, U. C. Joshi, K. S. Baliyan, S. N. Mathur, P. S. Patwal, R. R. Shah this URL Physical Research Laboratory’s (PRL) Optical Polarimeter has been used on various telescopes in India since its development in-house in the mid 1980s. To make the instrument more efficient and effective we have designed the acquisition and control system and written the software to run on the GNU/Linux Operating System. CCD cameras have been used, in place of eyepieces, which allow to observe fainter sources with smaller apertures. The use of smaller apertures provides dramatic gains in the signal-to-noise ratio. The polarimeter is now fully automated resulting in increased efficiency. With the advantage of networking being built-in at the operating system level in GNU/Linux, this instrument can now be controlled from anywhere on the PRL local area network which means that the observer can be stationed in Ahmedabad / Thaltej as well or via ssh anywhere on the…

This is my second year with astronomy as a hobby. I have bought four scopes in two years. Since there is no easy answer for your question I hope my experience with my scopes can help you along.
William Optics Megrez 90 Apo refractor & Vixen Porta mount
Skywatcher 8" Reflector & HEQ 5 Pro mount w/Goto
Skywatcher pro 150mm Mak/cass
Helios Startravel 80mm ( Guide scope for astro photo)
The Skywatcher 150mm mak/cass is the least used of my telescopes. It does not work well with photography, and is only usefull for the planets and luna. Since the planets are not well placed most of the time (with saturn as the exception), I have now named this scope the saturn & moon scope. Not very usefull.
I love my megrez 90 and do photography through it and take it along on trips. I would not consider owning this as my only scope. It simply doesn't have the aperture to make deep sky observation joyfull from light polluted areas. I have seen M51, M81/82 & The leo triplet galaxies through it from a dark sky location though.
I use my 8" reflector for imaging on not so windy nights, and for visual use from my house. I havn't travelled with it yet due to the size and weight of the HEQ5 PRO Mount & 8" tube.
A reflector, as many suggest is the best "bang for the buck". If you are into visual astronomy, I'd pick up a reflector on a dobsonian mount. I'm considering the Skywatcher 12" dobsonian myself. I can't see how anything could beat it if you'd like to look at stuff.
A well collimated reflector/dobsonian is also excellent for planetary and lunar observations.
Take a look at this review;
Good luck!

Well stay away from claims of 500x eye pieces they are usually useless when it comes to viewing with any serious intents. Generally what you say is available are good choices. Since eye pieces are a function of mirror or lense diameter and focal lenght you can determine from that the limit to eyepiece diameter. Generally for small telescopes it is rare to see an eyepiece greater 12.5mm. Since magnification comes from focal lenght using a too large of an eyepiece is of no use, it is possiable to blank out the sky with too much magnification. Also of importance is to first define what you want to use the scope for. Usually it is best to start out determining if you want to view planets, stars, nebulae and go easy on large aperatures and eye pieces in case you become disappointed in what you can see. At least you will have minimized your cost. If you find you are satisfied and would like to move up to a better grade of telescope (larger aperature and focal lenght) then you can do so. Many times someone will go out and buy a large telescope thinking they are really going to see everything only to wind up dissappointed and lose interest as well as a large amount of money. Many a telescope have been relegated to the dust bin because of this. Stay away from department store telescopes as they often contain defects,it is much better to deal with a reputable telescope maker or dealer. You may pay a little more but you will be happier.

Meade #126 2x Barlow Lens For 1.25" Telescope Eyepieces
The key factor is aperture – that is how big the primary mirror or objective lens is – since this governs how much light the telescope can collect. More light means that you can see fainter objects and higher magnifications are practical. For a first telescope where the budget is a consideration you are usually best looking at a Newtonian reflector telescope since these have the most bang for buck. Other scopes may have better optical quality or be better for certain tasks, but at the bottom end of the price scale a Newt usually wins hands down.
Less simple is the choice of mount. Here there are two options to consider: you have the Dobsonian (Dob) and the German equatorial mount (GEM). The Dob resembles a cannon mounted on a gun carriage, whereas the GEM is mounted on top of a tripod as you would expect.
Dobs are the cheaper of the two options, meaning you can get a larger or better quality scope and also slightly easier to set up since there is no polar alignment to worry about. There are people who get obsessed by aperture and will always say buy a Dob for this very reason, but it is important to retain a sense of perspective. The law of diminishing returns applies and in any case Dobs do have some limitations in use. They give you aperture cheap but that is it.
GEMs are slightly more flexible in use, and can follow the night sky very easily (the higher the magnification, the faster the stars appear to move). However, _some_ GEMs are unusably shaky in use. It isn't really that many – most shaky mounts are a different kind called altazimuth – but try to find some favourable reviews before you buy. (I've ignored the conventional altazimuth mount here since it combines the disadvantages of both the Dob and the GEM with none of the benefits.) GEMs do need careful setting up, but the process isn't really any slower, since for either option the limiting factor is the time needed for the scope to cool down when you take it outside.
The choice between the two is ultimately personal. There is no doubt that a GEM is more flexible and capable but it is also less convenient.
In the $200-300 range you are looking at a 6" Dob or 4.5-5.1" GEM – if you go for a GEM try hard for a 5.1" scope as there are some dodgy 4.5" scopes out there. I'm not going to recommend specific scopes but Celestron, Orion and Sky-Watcher all have scopes to suit you in their ranges and are well respected. I would steer clear of short tube scopes if you have the option, though. These are shorter and more compact but optical quality suffers because of the reduced focal ratio.
Yes, you can build your own scope. If you want to go down this route get a good book on amateur telescope construction since it is too complex to go into here. Be warned that you will not save much money without expending a _lot_ of time. If you buy in optical components and build them into a standard sized scope you are going to save little if anything.
This is a powerful 700mm refractor telescope. Not a toy, but a real scientific instrument! The Omega Refractor Telescope is simple enough yet serious enough to satisfy the budding astronomer and outdoor explorer. Three precision glass eyepieces provide magnifications from 30x to 200x, adequate for terrestrial viewing; slip in the 2x Barlow lens to focus on the moon and the stars. That is actually a nice scope. Expensive, but essentially good quality. However at 1900 mmm focal length the supplied 26mm eyepiece will give only 73x -that's a nice mid power figure but on the low side for the planets. I would get a 14mm ED EP from Astronomica for £45: which are very nice eyepieces for the money and will give 136x.
