I have just come into possession of a used Telescope and am having trouble figuring out how it works. I have it assembled but can't see anything through the eyepieces that were provided. there are 3 (25mm, 4mm, 2.5mm) and since it is winter the skies are cloudy and I can't tell which lens is stronger so any info would be appreciated.

This song is heavenly.
This is absolutely wonderful. When they came out with the album with an orchestra I was sceptical to say the least. Different? Yes. But thats what makes Yes Yes. Hearing this is special. Wakeman is an orchestra. i like it better. I have been listening to these guys, in various forms, except for the rabin years which I just friggin’ hated, since high school. I graduated in 1976…long time my friends but they never get old. we need Jon to get well and get some more music out here.
Another chilled out day at work.. and It's nearly home time.

Lately, I find myself thinking about the parents, just one more example of how your lens shifts when you have children.

To calculate the total magnification, you multiply the power of the ocular lens by the power of the objective lens.
For example, if your ocular lens has a power of 10x and your objective lens has a power of 5x, your total magnification will be 50x.
Do that simple task for each of what you asked and you will be good to go. Don't forget to include the "x" in your answers.

Internet, picture messaging, internet and instant messaging won't work. Calling features & texting will work. Music player will work just fine and so will the phone book.

There is no difference between a digital or "non-digital" lens, design wise. Nothing has been done to the glass or element design. The real differences have to do with the size of the image projected to the film or sensor. The "film" camera has to cover the whole of a 36×24mm frame, with no distortion, focus or colour. Most "digital" cameras only have to cover the smaller APS-C, 23.7 x 15.7 mm frame … so using a lens designed for the larger format will work fine on a DSLR, but if you try the reverse, your 36×24mm frame will experience some vignetting.
Your manual focus lens probably not have the necessary components to allow you to use your XTi's sophisticated light meter

Considering that Paul Allen funded a huge telescope array for SETI, I'm surprised isn't on the XBOX. Would make it a true x-box.
I am a fan of continuity I have one type of tile in the kitchen, entryway and mudroom. Hardwoods throughout the bedrooms, dining area and hall, and carpet in the family room.

i totally agree with you.
it`s B.the total magnification is the magnification of the objective (10x/40x/100x usually, but can be something else) which is further magnified by the eye piece (typically 10x, but others exist).
Hi There,
I am not sure if what you are looking for even exists. One part of your question seems that you are looking to start a home based business and the other seems that you are looking for a job with benefits. Please realize that there are legitimate companies out there in both categories. You just have to figure out which of the to you are truly looking for. A work from home business would not offer a 401K plan unless you create it for your business. Most work from home jobs do not offer this either. Unless you are already an employee and decide to work from home as a telecommuter.
Best of luck on deciding which type of financial resource you are seeking.

Usually the eyepiece mag. is 10x. So for an objective of 100x the total magnification would be 10*100 = 1000x
uhm… what a waste. Wiicontroller? Wiicontrollers are inefficient and useless crap; totally overrated. You did that just because.. I mean, there’s nerdy and there’s too nerdy. Too nerdy is what “the starwars kid” is.
well fortunately, I finished one of my testing assignments. which means I can move on to something different: testing. *cries*

with consumer camcorders, you take the lens that comes with the camera. professional video cameras that offer replaceable lenses do not take still pictures, that is a marketing "feature" of consumer grade cameras only. Pro gear uses large format ccd's, often 2/3 inch size, so a 16x lens is a pretty hefty piece of glass. Consumer 1/6 inch ccds can be fitted with a cheap 40x short focal length lens as no big deal. The most common manufacterers of pro-mount video lenses are Fujinon and Canon.

It sounds like you have one of these:
It hasa 60mm objective, a 700mm focal length, and comes with 4mm, 12.5mm, and 20mm eyepieces. Lets begin by putting aside the barlow lens and the erecting lens. The erecting lens works best for terristial viewing and the barlow lens is not needed on this size scope.
Begin viewing with the 20mm eyepiece (35x), and find and center your target. Adjust the focus so that it is as sharp as you can get it. Now watch the object move across your field of view. Try adjusting your scope to keep ot right in the center. Once you get comfortable doing that replace the 20mm eyepiece with the 12.5mm eyepiece (56x). Notice that the object seems to be moving faster, it is much harder to keep it centered. But, learn to do so and practice until you are comfortable.
Finally replace the eyepiece with the 4mm lens. This should take your magnification up to 140x. Try to sharpen the image, but be aware that 140x may be too much for your scope or too much for prevailing conditions. If it is not really sharp then go back to the 12.5 eyepiece.
