The usual technique would be either to make the output of your sensor part of a potential divider circuit connected to a stable voltage source, or to use a constant current source such as some type of current mirror to provide a voltage across the sensor terminals which you can then measure.
I posted 3 photos on Facebook in the album "Global Lens 2010"
The obvious question is why did you buy a DSLR if you only want to use one lens? You could have bought an ultra zoom compact and been done with it for about half the cost of the DSLR and super zoom lens.
you can try satellite tv .it's a vrey good and economic software.

In 2006, a NASA spacecraft returned to Earth with samples that scientists hoped might contain cosmic dust, a byproduct of star formation. They let the public look for the elusive particles online. A squinting citizen might have just found one. The particles in question are pieces of interstellar dust, a substance containing atoms formed during the birthing of the sun and our neighboring planets. Don Brownlee, a researcher at the University of Washington, likens the dust to a “library of what was in the early solar system.” You would assume that the first cosmic dust would be discovered in a laboratory by some crazy-haired scientist, but the distinction may go to a Canadian man named Bruce Hudson. Hudson was a participant in a program that anyone with an internet connection use a virtual microscope to scour the samples for these particular particles. Scientists are currently analyzing Hudson’s find and are “cautiously optimistic” that it is the first cosmic dust ever to…
they sure do. i think that answers your quesion

Remember iCalShare? The calendar-sharing site–once touted by Steve Jobs during a Macworld Expo keynote–seemed to have vanished for a while, but it’s now back, and even easier to use. iCalShare now provides more than 3,500 free calendars in 40 categories, with its search tool and interface both undergoing improvements in its latest incarnation. iCalShare lets you create an account and subscribe to any of the calendars generated by its users. The events in calendars to which you’ve subscribed automatically get added to the calendar you maintain in a variety of desktop or Web apps including iCal, Google Calendar, and Microsoft Office. iCalShare takes the drudgery out of manually adding holidays, sports schedules, or academic calendars to your calendaring application. Anyone with an account can create a calendar to share; you just have to use the iCalendar (.ics) format. The site itself doesn’t allow for calendar creation, and it doesn’t host or publish calendars either. You’ll have to…

if you have removable storage in your camera find a printer that has storage slots for them and you can plug them in and print right from them. If not some printers have usb ports and you can hook the cam up then and hit print on a pic on the camera. And of course theres the traditional way of putting it on your computer and having the printer hooked up to it and just hitting print. =) Go to the electronics section of any store with electronics like Target, wal mart, Best buy, Circuit city, take your camera if possible, and ask them for advice and to explain things to ya. Thats what they are there for!
The Inspiron E1505 already has a Firewire port. It's on the right side, near the back. Right behind the 2 USB ports.
It's pretty simple actually. If I say to you the word door, does a picture of a door crop up in you head, or does the word door or any other word ascociated with doors come into your head like, knocker, letter box, window… If the picture crops up, chances are you have a photographic memory. It also helps if you can recall things you have only seen once, in great detail.
I was told this in a degree Psychology class.
i hate it i feel like i'm under a microscope or something u know

lenovo thinkpads are a good laptop. get the latest one. i think it is like t600. for a good camera im sorry i cant help u. tell ur husband that he is doing a great deed for this country and he has my support.
can't go wrong with manfrotto 190 or 055 legs, the head will depend on what kind of photography you do, i have the basic 141 3d head, which covers me for most applications, along with the 501hdv head for my bigma superzoom.
Buy a manfrotto and you'll never need to buy another tripod again. With a 40d you obviously take your photography seriosly so why skimp on a flimsy cheap tripod?
It has a lot to do with its design.
There are three factors;
* The size and number of lens elements
* The design of the lens
* The quality of the lens barrel and internal parts (mechanical or electronic) .. some even have microprocessors in them
And yes, professional photographers do find the high quality lenses worth the extra money … the lenses last longer than the cheaper ones. I have Nikkor lenses that still perform up to spec that are nearly 40 years old.
From Ken Rockwell: "These are tests of lenses I've used or at least have an interest in personally. I know it seems like I've shot every lens in existence, but to be honest I haven't.
I don't bother with the discount lenses so I don't mention them. If you care, my opinion is that the best independent lenses come from Tokina, then Tamron, and the poorest mechanically are from Sigma. When I'm limited on cash I prefer to buy used camera-brand lenses, not new discount ones. By all means, if you want to, buy from a place that will let you return something and try out a discount lens if you insist."

You don't look at the hex value, but rather the binary version of the number because basically there is bit masking going on. For example, PI as a 24 bit number
sign = 0 ; e = 1 ; s = 110010010000111111011011

It's mostly going to be up to you. what is your primary type of photos you will be taking. if you prefer a small size body, I would choose Nikon cool pix… larger body, I would go with either Kodak easy share or Canon's power shot…all three of these cameras are around $220 – $230. Great sales at circuit city. Just looked before answering you.
Good luck…and enjoy
You forgot to add she needs it waterproof?
thats funny….this brings you to a whole new ballpark.
I also added a link to cnet's site….it's really a great place to get reviews. So I did find a good brand name, and you can take it from there.
Again, good luck and have fun!

Yes, if the 4 pin port on your laptop is an IEEE1394 port.
I had an upper endoscopy done last year. The procedure was not hard to get over, the only problem I had was the anesthia that they give you. It took me about 24 hours to recover from that. HOWEVER, I do not respond to anesthia that well, so it always takes me longer than the average person. For you, I would say that you may not be feeling great at your husband's party, but you can probably make it through. It all just depends, in my experience, on how you react to the medication.
Well, for what you would have to pay to get a good P&S, you could get an inexpensive SLR.
Now, I am sure you want a digital. Film SLRs can be had for practically nothing-$50-100 for a whole package. But you can get a used DSLR for around $350. Check craigslist. I see DSLRs there all the time and for less than $350.
I realize that you may not usually have a reason to have a DSLR, but if I were choosing between a new $350 P&S or a used DSLR for $350, I would choose the DSLR without hesitation.
