The Celestron flexible lens tube is designed to fit on the front end of your Celestron telescope, thus reducing the amount of dew that builds up on your corrector plate. The result is a crisp, clear image that's not disturbed by fog or other moisture- related issues. At the same time, the tube also serves as a lens shade by preventing stray light from falling on the corrector plate, a detail that greatly improves contrast. Users will love the tube's rugged yet soft Foamex plastic material, which compresses into a flat shape for easy storage. And thanks to the thick walls and sewn seams, the tube won't crack or fall apart over time--unlike many competing products.
